The Seattle sailors’ receiver, Cal Raleight, broke one of the records of the Johnny Bench Hall of Fame in the victory of the 9-4 team over Chicago puppies in Wrigley Field on Friday.
Raleigh, 28, connected two home runs, his 28 and 29 of the season, and broke Bench’s record for most home runs for a receiver before the star game recess. Bench had established the previous record in 1970.

With the explosion of the first entry, Raleigh tied the bench record. However, it would only remain tied with bank for six innings.

Raleight is in the middle of an outstanding season, since the receiver has an average bat of .273 and, in addition to leading the major leagues in homers, leads the American league in Rbis, with 63.
Raleigh sailors (38-36) face the puppies (45-30) again on Saturday at 2:20 pm et.
