EXCLUSIVE: The State Athletics Championship of the California High School is emerging as one of the most unprecedented high school sporting events in recent history.
In the midst of a national controversy that involves an athlete Trans competing in the category of girls, the California Interscollastic Federation (CIF) announced a series of radical rules changes in the days before the event to accommodate female competitors.
But now several families of girls who have already been displaced by a trans athlete in previous meetings have spoken against the Federation, expressing dissatisfaction with the changes.
On Tuesday, CIF announced that it would expand the size of the championship competition group and invite “biological” athletes that were lost in making the title of a place because a trans athlete that ends ahead of them in the classification round last week.

Then, on Wednesday, the Federation announced that it would also recognize women’s athletes on the medal podium if a girl who loses a medal ending because they came behind a trans athlete.
The Track and Field star of Crean Lutheran, Reese Hogan, ended in second place for Trans athlete Hernández de Jurupa Valley High School in the triple jump in the final of the South Section on May 17. Then, on the podium of the medal, after Hernández left, Hogan, Hogan, he appeared to the first place for a photographic position to an Apple to go to the photo. The trick went viral since Hogan was praised by activists of female sports rights such as a heroin.
But the latest changes of CIF rules will not give Hogan the first place medal for that event.
Hogan’s family provided a statement from her to Pak Gazette Digital that said: “The recent CIF rule clearly recognizes a false step of its part. However, what they have proposed not to reach what we really need for all the girls in all sports.
“Unfortunately, we cannot visit that moment again to rectify this injustice. This problem transcends a single meeting, sport or individual; it is fundamentally the rights of all women to compete fairly. We deserve that opportunity and we will continue to advocate for it.”
Hogan has previously said to Pak Gazette Digital who finds the situation involving Hernández “sad”.
“He is a bit sad just looking. He is obviously a really talented athlete, we have all seen him jump and things, and I wish him the best of luck, but in a children’s division,” Hogan told Pak Gazette Digital about competing against the athlete. “It is quite obvious the certain advantages it has, and it is obviously sad as a woman to see that.”
Meanwhile, the family of the Lutheran team of Hogan, Olivia Viola, is also not satisfied with the changes in the rule.
“While we are grateful that some female athletes recover their ability to compete in states and women win their legitimate titles in this weekend contest, unfortunately the CIFS trial program does not really fix anything. Women are still forced to compete against biological men. The Civil IX title rights of our daughters, sisters, friends and teammates are still being raped,” said the family Declaration of title.
“Unfortunately, with every step that our state leaders give, he realizes that California really has no intention of protecting our girls from the necessary ways. The pilot program essentially admits that allowing biological men to compete in the women’s category that is an error in two full -course categories.

President Donald Trump evaluated the situation when he sent a real social position on Tuesday morning, warning the state and governor Gavin Newsom of possible fund cuts and orders to local authorities to prevent a trans athlete competing in the girls category on Saturday. The first rule change occurred only hours after Trump’s post.
The Department of Justice announced that it would launch an investigation into the attorney general of CIF and California, Rob Bonta, on the law of the State that allows transfers biologically male athletes to compete with girls and women on Wednesday. The second rule change took place shortly after that announcement.
On Tuesday, the family of another girl athletics star that has been displaced by Hernández in the postseason of athletics, Katie McGuinness of the Canada High School, told Pak Gazette Digital that they are grateful for Trump’s intervention.
“We are grateful that President Trump is fighting for female athletes and giving them a fair opportunity to compete in a leveling playing field. CIF’s ‘solution’ to this situation, which allows additional girls to compete in the state championship that otherwise does not qualify because the transgender athlete took its place, it is not good enough: it is still an unfair competition and an injustice and an injustice for girls competing,” he said, “he said The family in a statement.
“Allowing biological men to compete in women’s sports is unfair, unfair and challenges common sense,” added the family.

Katie previously spoke against CIF for allowing the situation to get so far in an “America reports” interview of Pak Gazette last week.
“I have nothing against this athlete as a person, and I have nothing against the trans community,” McGuinness said. “My message today is really specifically for CIF and act quickly and timely because this is a really sensitive problem.”
