The Member of the California Assembly, Bill Ensayli, is working to approve a bill through the state legislature that would prohibit trans athletes from girls and women’s sports.
Essayli presented the bill on February 14 in the midst of a large number of controversial incidents in the state that involve trans athletes who play in female sports teams.
As one of the main Republicans in Sacramento, Essayli believes that incidents have intensified the issue in one of the civil rights for people of all religions in the State.
“Not only for Christians, I listen to American Muslims and Jews too. “Therefore, it is partially a matter of religious civil rights.”
California has allowed the inclusion of trans athletes in sports of girls and women dating from 2014 and is currently fighting against President Donald Trump to maintain that system in place after the recent executive order of “No men in Trump’s women’s sports”.

“What I have concluded is that this is part of this Marxist agenda to break the family unit and divide their parents’ students, and if the government can basically assume the role of parents and instill the values and systems to the child, then they feel they can control that child for the rest of their life,” said Essayli.
“I really think this is a play for the next generation of Americans and who is going to raise those children and I think that is what the Democratic Party focuses, I think that is the long game here, they are making a play for the next generation of voters.”
Essayli added that he believes that the current system is not only unfair to girls, but also for school employees who have to carry out the system, and that it is also unfair for transgender students themselves.
“They are cheating when believing that if they identify as a woman, they should have all the rights and privileges as a biological woman, and they are encouraged to join the women’s sports teams and use the female locker room, and I do not think it is a good situation for the child, they will not fit in that environment,” said Essayli.
“Maybe there is an alternative sports team, perhaps a mixed sports team, maybe they have their own facilities to change, I think there are other solutions that make more sense … if you put a child in the girls’ locker room, if they are still a child, it will be uncomfortable for everyone … creates many problems and it is our policy manufacturers who have established this problem.”

In the short term, the democratic support for trans inclusion in girls and women’s sports has been one of the greatest vulnerabilities of the party during the last year. “With the Democrats, many of them do not want to talk about it, they say it is not a real problem … They seem to want to avoid it,” said Essayli. “They know that the public supports him, so they don’t want to talk about it publicly, but they continue to pushing him behind the scene.”
Essayli believes that the public will resume this, and the problem will finally strengthen republican support in their state.
“I think the Democrats will continue to double this, and that will be to detriment,” said Essayli. “If the Democrats continue to double and oppose that and push their radical ideologies, I think they will continue to lose elections and seats in the legislature.”
