A girl -song song meeting in California became a political demonstration on Saturday in the midst of a growing controversy over a trans athlete that has dominated in El Salto, El Salto and Triple Salto de las Girls this season.
The rally occurred less than two days after three of the estimated Christian secondary schools of the state sent a letter to the Interscholastic Federation of California (CIF) challenging their long -standing policy that allows biological men in girls’ sports.
Jserra Catholic High School, Orange Lutheran High School and create Lutheran High School sent a joint letter to CIF Thursday, referring to the trans athlete that competed in the state semifinal preliminaries on Saturday.

“For young women, CIF gender identity policy means lost opportunities and a field without level. The consequences of this policy will be felt this weekend, since CIF state semifinal competitions for athletics events take place. Women The letter read.
“The gender identity policy of CIF also encourages an environment that is increasingly hostile to religious member schools. The letter continued to suggest that some of the female athletes competing for the three Christian schools considered not to compete against the trans athlete in the semifinal preliminary on Saturday.

“It doesn’t matter how hard we train, how many hours we spend, reality will always be established in men and women,” said Olivia Viola de Crean Lutheran. “For me, this simply does not seem fair. CIF is not doing anything to protect us female athletes.”
The CIF is currently under investigation by the United States Department of Education to allow Trans athletes to compete in girls’ sports and possible violations of Title IX.

California was one of the first states to openly challenge the executive order of “keeping men out of women’s sports” by President Donald Trump after signing her on February 5.
“The CIF provides students with the opportunity to belong, connect and compete in educational experiences in accordance with the California Law. [Education Code section 221.5. The State has seen multiple controversies explode during the past year with respect to the issue, and many other residents and even some schools are taking support against state officials who enforce inclusion policies.
The Unified Redlands School Board in San Bernardino voted at the end of April to adopt a new policy that would keep transgender athletes outside the girls’ sports.
