TO Obligations The game could come to Nintendo Switch 2, according to a recent leak.
As noted by VGC, a leaker who goes by ‘@realityuk’ supposedly spotted some references to Nintendo platforms in the Obligations code.

Based on your screenshot, the Nintendo references appear to appear alongside code from other major platforms like Xbox and PlayStation.
Ubisoft Connect is also present on the list, which is presumably a result of certain Activision titles including modern warfare 2 and modern warfare 3which became available via Ubisoft+ Premium streaming late last year.
The leaker suggests that this means an announcement is “imminent” and should be expected as part of Nintendo’s next series of reveals.
It’s unclear which games, if any, will be coming to Nintendo Switch 2, but the most obvious contenders would be Black ops 7 and free-to-play war zone royal battle.
An inevitable port?
New claims of a potential Obligations The Nintendo Switch 2 port shouldn’t be a big surprise, as it Microsoft and Nintendo signed a binding ten-year legal agreement in 2023.
At the time, Microsoft vice president and president Brad Smith promised that the company would bring Obligations games to Nintendo platforms.
The games would supposedly launch “on the same day as Xbox, with full features and content parity” as part of a move toward “providing long-term equitable access to Obligations to other gaming platforms.
The announcement came in the shadow of a looming Federal Trade Commission (FTC) lawsuit against Microsoft, which argued that the tech giant’s purchase of Call of Duty owner Activision Blizzard would violate US antitrust laws.
The FTC eventually dropped the case and the $75.4 billion acquisition was completed on October 13, 2023.
Although it is clear that Microsoft has missed the opportunity to bring Black ops 7 to Nintendo Switch 2 “on the same day as Xbox,” the announcement of a port would still go some way toward fulfilling that promise.
