A car parked outside a house in Karachi’s Shah Faisal Colony was stolen within seconds, with CCTV footage of the incident now doing the rounds on social media.
The robbery occurred in the Alfalah community, where two motorcycle mountain suspects executed the crime with speed and coordination, Express News reported.
In the footage, a suspect can be seen skillfully unlocking the car door and starting the vehicle just moments before getting out.
The owner of the car, Atiq Ahmed, filed a case at Shah Faisal police station, stating that the theft took place on January 24. Ahmed, who drives a taxi through a transportation app, revealed that the vehicle was essential for his livelihood.
The police have transferred the case to the anti-vehicle lifting cell (AVLC) for further investigation. Authorities are examining the images to track down the culprits.
