Cassie Ventura is one of the four alleged victims who will be presented at the next federal trial against Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, but will not maintain his testimony in anonymity.
The 37 -year -old model and singer, who had a relationship with combs from 2007 to 2018, will testify under her own name against the dishonored rapper on May 5.
Federal prosecutors recently presented a motion that confirmed that Ventura, who initially referred to judicial documents as victims-1, will not remain in anonymity during his testimony.
“(Cassie) is prepared to testify under its own name. Victim-2, Victim-3 and Victim-4 have asked their identities not to be revealed to the press or the public.”
“This case has already received an exceptional amount of media coverage, which presumably will only increase as the trial progresses,” said the new presentation.
“Allowing these measures will avoid unnecessary public dissemination of victims’ identities, and the harassment of the media and others, improper shame and other adverse consequences that would surely follow if these women were forced to reveal their true names publicly in trial.”
Comink, 55, faces five positions in three federal positions, such as extortion, force trafficking, fraud or coercion. and transport to participate in prostitution. He declared himself innocent of all the charges.
Ventura, who was subjected to domestic violence by combs in a viral filtered footage, had previously filed a civil lawsuit against him, but resolved the matter outside the Court a day later.
Shortly after viral images, dozens of other civil demands surrounded combs with multiple women and men accusing the founder of Bad Boy records of sexual aggression.
Around time, three of the rapper’s properties were raided by the FBI.
He is currently being held without bail at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn since his arrest on September 16.
