Islamabad:
The Privatization Cabinet Committee (CCOP) on Tuesday approved a rapid monitoring plan for the privatization of the International Airlines Corporation of Pakistan (PIACL), including the disinversion of social capital of 51-100% along with management control.
The Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Senator Ishaq Dar, presided over the committee meeting, said a statement issued by the spokesman for the Foreign Ministry.
The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized the government’s commitment to the privatization of Piacl to unlock its maximum potential.
