The Board of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) approved several projects on Friday, including the realization of an audit of third parties of all its projects to eliminate corruption, restore and update the North IJ Main service, and the rehabilitation and expansion of the road from Kashmir Chowk to Faizabad Interchange along Murree Road.

In addition, approval for the purchase of equipment necessary to establish a SIG Laboratory (Geographic Information System) in the special technology wing, among other projects.

The CDA Board also decided to cancel the assignments of government adaptations that were assigned to officers and other employees, but that have been given illegally to other people.

The sixth meeting of the Board of CDA, chaired by the president of the CDA and commissioner Chief Muhammad Ali Randhawa, was held on Friday at the headquarters of the CDA, with the participation of the members of the Board and the relevant officers. Several elements of the agenda were discussed in detail and final decisions were made.

One of the key decisions was to make an audit of third parties of all CDA projects. The Board emphasized that CDA is committed to transparency, quality standards and merit.

The Board also approved the restoration and improvement of the North Service of IJ Main Road to relieve travel problems for citizens. Similarly, the rehabilitation and expansion of the road from Cashmiro Chowk to the exchange of Faizabad along Murree Road was also approved.
