The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has announced that it will offer additional residential plots in Margalla Enclave, responding to the strong demand for housing in the capital.

Margalla Enclave, a joint venture between CDA and the Defense Housing Authority (DHA), is located on Park Road in Sector C-14.

The decision comes after the CDA received a record number of applications for residential land during the recent poll for Sector C-14.

A total of 1,700 applications were submitted for just 236 plots, each measuring 500 square metres.

In view of the overwhelming demand, the CDA has decided to offer residential plots in three sizes: five marlas, 10 marlas and 500 square varas.

These plots are part of the larger Margalla Enclave development, which is expected to become a prime residential area in Islamabad.

“We are offering a variety of plot sizes to meet the growing demand from investors and those looking to build their homes,” a CDA spokesperson said.

“This is an excellent opportunity for those looking for residential plots in a well-connected area of the city.”

The new plots at Margalla Enclave will be offered with flexible payment plans, with options spanning one, two or three years. This payment flexibility aims to make plots more accessible to a wider range of buyers.

CDA President Muhammad Ali Randhawa said that the expansion of Margalla Enclave marks a significant step in the urban development of Islamabad.

“This project is a milestone for the city’s growth and will set a benchmark for future residential developments in the capital,” Randhawa said.

Development work in Sector C-14 is progressing and the CDA aims to ensure timely possession of the plots once the last stretch has been cleared. Possession will be granted within 10 months of receipt of a notification letter from the CDA.

In addition to its prime location, Margalla Enclave will offer modern infrastructure, state-of-the-art public amenities and ample green spaces, making it an attractive option for investors and homeowners alike.

The CDA also emphasized that the project design incorporates sustainable living practices.

The expansion of the Margalla Enclave follows the success of Sector C-14, which saw a high level of interest during the recent plot vote.

Buyers are encouraged to confirm their plot allocation and submit their first payment to secure their investment.
