Cement prices in Pakistan have fallen to RS1,390 per bag for the best brands, including Bestway cement, ARCE leaf cement and DG Khan cement, which provides some relief to those planning construction projects.
Other brands offer cement to RS1,400 per bag.
The decrease reflects the changing demand of the market and the best import conditions within the construction sector. Steel availability also contributes to fluctuations.
While the price of the cement currently varies from RS13,850 to RS14.05 PKR per 10 kg bag, people can take advantage of a 30% discount when registered through the 8171 portal of the EHSAAS program.
