It’s CES time again: The event formerly known as the Consumer Electronics Show is now just CES, but it’s still the biggest tech expo on the calendar. The 2026 edition is already underway in Las Vegas and the TechRadar team has been checking out everything on display.
Here’s our roundup of the highlights we saw on the first day of CES. Technically, it’s “day zero,” the day when a lot of press conferences are given and a lot of press releases are issued, and here’s what caught our attention, in no particular order…
1. Pebble Round 2
- Best feature: 1.3 inch e-paper screen
Pebble smartwatches are back and Round 2 looks to fix some of the issues that delayed the original Time Round (in 2015). Specifically, it brings with it a larger e-paper display and much better battery life, at a cheaper price.
Smart features include the ability to track steps and sleep, and even here there’s some basic water resistance too. You can pair it with both iPhones and Android devices, and you can get one for $199 (that’s about £145 / AU$295), with shipping in May.
2. JBL stereo clips
- Best feature: That ‘ear cuff’ design
There are plenty of headphones and earbuds on display at CES 2026, but the JBL Soundgear Clips have caught our attention—or ears? As the name suggests, they are the first JBL headphones to use the clip-on design and come in a variety of eye-catching colors like purple and copper.
We haven’t used them yet, but we do know that they offer up to 32 hours of playback on a single battery charge (if you include the case) and that they offer IP54 water and dust resistance. As for the price, they are expected to set you back $149.95 (around £110 / AU$225).
3. Govee Ultra ceiling lamp
- Best Feature: Custom lighting patterns
Govee appeared at CES 2026, with some new smart lights in tow. As far as we’re concerned, the pick of the bunch is the Ultra ceiling light, and you might be able to guess which part of the room it goes in based on the name. Yes, that’s right, you fix it to the ceiling.
That position means it can project an ambient aura of lighting throughout the space it’s installed in, and with a selection of over 20 color presets, as well as additional customization controls, there’s a lot you can do with this. It also offers a decent brightness of 5,000 lumens.
4. Seattle Ultrasonics C200 Knife
- Best feature: Cut fruits and vegetables effortlessly
CES always plays host to a variety of more unusual and obscure gadgets, and in this spirit, we present to you the Seattle Sonics C200 knife. It uses a series of carefully calibrated vibrating crystals to facilitate cutting, with a minimal amount of force needed.
Think of it like bicycles and e-bikes: you’re using technology to do more with less effort. In fact, we’ve tested it in the showroom and it simplifies cutting a tomato. Shipping is scheduled for later this year, with a price tag of around $399 (around £295 / AU$595).
5. Samsung Galaxy TriFold
- Best Feature: It has an extra fold
The Samsung Galaxy TriFold was announced before CES, but as the US launch approaches, we’ve been able to test the tri-fold: it’s like a regular folding book, but with an extra screen segment and hinge.
Our first impressions are very good, with editor-at-large Lance Ulanoff describing it as “certainly a notable design achievement” and a device that offers “truly portable, large-screen tablet productivity.” See the full story for more details.
6. Anker Soundcore Aerofit 2 Pro
- Best Feature: An adjustable ear hook
Returning to wireless earbuds, we have Anker’s Soundcore AeroFit 2 Pro, yours for $179.99 (around £135 / AU$270). You have a number of premium features to enjoy with these, including active noise cancellation, water and sweat resistance, and high-resolution support.
Most interestingly, though, the headphones come with an adjustable ear hook, which goes some way to solving the problem of finding the right fit for the headphones you’re stuffing into your ears. The audio balance is also automatically adjusted to match the hook position.
7. LG W6 ‘Wallpaper’ / LG C6H OLED TV
- Best Feature: Super slim profile
LG, of course, makes some of the best TVs on the market and is looking to repeat the trick in 2026. The new LG W6 ‘Wallpaper’ TV, for example, comes in a super slim bezel and uses the Zero Connect box to try to be as wallpaper-like as possible.
There’s plenty more from LG this year too, including the LG C6H OLED – this brings with it a major boost in brightness thanks to new display technology, and you can get it in 77-inch and 83-inch sizes. However, we’re still waiting to find out how much these TVs will cost.
8. Samsung S95H 130-inch OLED/Micro RGB TV
- Best Feature: Significantly better brightness
Speaking of TVs, Samsung has its own models to demonstrate at CES 2026, starting with the Samsung S95H OLED. This flagship TV comes with a design revamp of sorts, improved brightness, powerful magnification, and better anti-glare technology for the display.
Also worth mentioning is the gigantic 130-inch Micro RGB TV that Samsung also brought to the show. It’s so big that it comes with its own custom-made bracket, so you don’t need to worry about mounting it on the wall, although you may need to worry about the cost.
9. Withings Body Scan 2
- Best Feature: Tracking more than 60 different biomarkers
Smart scales are getting smarter and Withings Body Scan 2 is an example of this. The device is capable of measuring over 60 different biomarkers to get a complete view of your overall health, and all you need to do is briefly stand on it every day or so.
There’s an LCD screen here for at-a-glance results and, of course, a dedicated companion app to dig deeper into your metrics. You may have to save up for this, though, as the smart scale launches later this year for $599.95 (currently around £445 / AU$895).
10. Keyboard clicks on
- Best Feature: The slider form factor
Clicks’ latest BlackBerry-style phone keyboard accessory brings with it some useful upgrades over its predecessor. Firstly, it adopts a slide-out form factor, so you can store the keyboard neatly when you are not using it, reducing the overall volume.
Secondly, there is a built-in wireless charger here that you can use to power your phone, as long as it supports MagSafe or Qi2 wireless charging. We can see these $79 / £60 / AU$120 devices becoming very popular with phone owners as the year progresses.
11. SwitchBot Onero H1 Robot
- Best Feature: Learning at work
There are robots at CES 2026, and they come with AI on board, ready to take care of tedious and time-consuming household tasks for you. The SwitchBot Onero H1, for example, can fold laundry, load the dishwasher, and even bring you a drink.
The Onero H1’s full capabilities are a bit vague, however: SwitchBot says the robot is smart and versatile enough to learn to perform a variety of tasks, if you show it how to do them, but we’re not sure we’re ready to trust it with appliances or kids right now.
