We’ve already seen a lot at CES 2026 (check out our day one recap for more details), but there’s been a lot more to marvel at today, on the second day of the biggest tech expo on the calendar.
However, as you’ll see in our CES 2026 live blog, there are also plenty of smaller, specialized pieces of technology to check out. It really includes everything from kitchen appliances to giant inline skates, and the TechRadar team has you covered.
Here are the highlights from our second day at CES 2026, and it’s another great selection of crazy, beautiful technology.
1. Click Communicator
- Best Feature: The BlackBerry style keyboard
Blackberry is back! More or less. Clicks has been providing physical keyboard accessories for phones for a while, but now it has its own phone, called Clicks Communicator. If you miss having a BlackBerry by your side, this could be the best option.
In addition to the keyboard, the Communicator comes with a customizable side button for quickly recording voice memos, and even has a microSD card slot and headphone jack. It can be pre-ordered now for $399 (around £295/AU$595) and will ship later this year.
2. Dell XPS 14 2026
- Best Feature: The magnificent redesign
Dell is bringing back its XPS brand, and we’ve already had some hands-on time with the 14- and 16-inch
In addition to its solid and lightweight build quality, the Dell XPS 14 for 2026 comes with Intel Core Ultra chipsets, up to 64GB of memory, and up to 4TB of internal SSD storage. It’s a great all-round package and pricing starts at $2,049.99 (around £1,520 / AU$3,045).
3. Birdbuddy 2 Mini
- Best Feature: AI bird detection
The smart bird feeder experts at Birdbuddy are back with the Birdbuddy 2 Mini, and there’s no prizes for guessing what’s different about the new model: it’s smaller. It’s also more affordable and matches the specs of the larger version that launched last year.
There is a 2K camera installed here next to the bird feed holder, as well as AI-powered bird detection that works from visual and audio cues. Pre-orders and shipping are expected this year, and the price isn’t unreasonable at $129 (around £95/AU$190).
4. Moon Band
- Best Feature: There is no subscription fee
Screenless fitness trackers are lightweight and discreet, but the market leader in this field, Whoop, asks for a subscription fee. The new Luna Band hopes to provide an alternative that only asks for an upfront payment when you actually purchase the device.
It certainly looks the part and comes with support for a variety of voice commands to replace tapping on the screen, and of course you can also operate everything via the accompanying mobile app. However, we are still waiting for pricing to be confirmed.
5. Samsung Galaxy Book6
- Best Feature: Intel’s latest Core Ultra Series 3 CPUs
Samsung is ready to take on the best Mac and Windows laptops again with the new Galaxy Book6 laptop series. They are equipped with the latest Intel chipset technology, are impressively stylish and lightweight, and of course, also come with many AI-related features.
Based on what Samsung has shown at CES 2026 so far, we have high hopes for the Samsung Galaxy Book6 series, and they promise to combine top-notch performance with excellent battery life between charges – something we all want from our laptops.
6. Lego Smart Brick
- Best Feature: Next Level Lego Interactivity
In one of the biggest improvements we’ve seen in Lego bricks in recent years, we’re getting a series of Smart Bricks that come with built-in intelligence: these blocks are capable of detecting other Smart Bricks, making noises (like space battle sounds), and more.
However, from the outside these bricks look very similar to the existing ones. We’ve written a full explainer on how Smart Bricks can enhance your Lego experience, and they’re coming to Star Wars sets first. Naturally, they are also a little more expensive than regular bricks.
7. Shokz OpenFit Pro
- Best Feature: Exceptional noise reduction
If you want effective noise reduction from your wireless headphones without feeling like your ear canal is completely sealed, check out the Shokz OpenFit Pro. The newly introduced headphones promise a high level of noise cancellation while still using an open-ear design.
Having tested the Shokz OpenFit Pro, we can confirm that it works as advertised and, with high-quality materials, premium sound and Dolby Atmos support, it’s an attractive proposition. These headphones will set you back £219 (around $295 / AU$440).
8. Timeli Flashlight
- Best Feature: Get help when you need it
The Timeli flashlight does the main job you’d expect, with an impressive level of brightness, but it’s also so much more. It comes with GPS, video recording, and a button that will contact emergency operators if you feel you are in trouble.
In other words, this could literally save your life, which isn’t bad for $299 (around £220 / AU$445). The emergency dispatch features cost you more in the form of a subscription fee, but you get a full year of free service included in the cost of the flashlight.
9. Victrola Sound Studio
- Best Feature: An all-in-one solution without the bulk
Audio lovers definitely haven’t been left out of this year’s CES 2026, and the Victrola Soundstage is proof of that. The main selling point is the way the turntable sits on top of the soundbase speaker to provide a compact, all-in-one vinyl listening experience.
It’s relatively affordable too – yours for $349.99 (around £260 / AU$500) when it’s available mid-this year. If you’re looking to take your first steps into a quality vinyl collection and turntable, the Victrola Soundstage could be perfect.
10. HP Eliteboard G1a
- Best Feature: Its takeaway appeal
There are always a lot of innovative ideas shown at CES each year, and the HP Eliteboard G1a certainly fits that description. It’s a complete PC built into a keyboard, so all you need to do is connect a mouse and an external monitor and you’ll be up and running.
It’s also a pretty powerful PC, with enough power to earn the Copilot+ label. We’re still waiting for pricing confirmation, but it’s sure to appeal to people who spend a lot of time hopping between desks, as all you’ll need to carry with you on the move is the keyboard.
11. Audio-Technique AT-LP7X
- Best Feature: An impressive design
Our second turntable on this list is a finely crafted piece of technology, offering a fully manual belt drive, a built-in phono preamp, and extensive cartridge compatibility. The Audio-Technica AT-LP7X also looks pretty stunning, following the aesthetics of its predecessor.
That predecessor, 2019’s Audio-Technica AT-LP7, was also a truly impressive model, so we’re eager to try it out and weigh up the upgrades on offer. The turntable is available to purchase now and retails for £679 (around $920 / AU$1,370).
