Los Angeles’s offensive liner, Rashawn Slater, left Thursday’s practice on the back of a medical car after apparently hurting the left leg.
The chargers did not immediately provide an update on the state of Slater.
The defensive coordinator Jesse Mint said he did not see the work in which Slater was injured. Keenan Allen, who recently joined the Chargers, said that the moment was also missing when his teammate was injured.
“I was in the work, so I turned around and he was depressed. I didn’t know what happened,” said Allen.

Before the car left the field, Slater’s teammates offered good hugs and goods.
“We are praying for him, man. We hope it is fine,” said the external supporter Tuli Tuipulotu. “That is something you don’t want to see.”

The durable Slater is attributed with 52 race openings since he was recruited in the first round in 2021. He has anchored an offensive line of the chargers that helped protect the field marshal from Campo Estrella Justin Herbert in recent seasons.
