Charles Barkley is worried about how Bill Belichick’s relationship with Jordon Hudson is affecting the legacy of the legendary coach.

Hudson closed a question about how the couple met Tony Dokoupil during Belichick’s interview with “CBS News Sunday Morning”, and the interview generated generalized criticisms.

Barkley, 62, said he is worried about how Belichick’s relationship with Hudson has affected the coach’s legacy.

“Man, this thing is so messy … at this time, he is the best coach in history, but we are not even talking about that at this time, and that is what bothers me,” Barkley said during an appearance in “Don me on Dakich” of Outkick.

“That is what really bothers me. He is the best coach in history. We are not even talking about it, and I would hate to see that I end like this. Because that will be the lasting memory at this time, and I hate him.”

Barkley said his friendship with North Carolina coach began before the historic 24 -seasons of Belichick with the New England Patriots, when the coach was fired by the Cleveland Browns. The member of the Basketball Hall of Fame said that it has not yet communicated directly with Belichick, but that the coach has been a great friend for him over the years.

Belichick spent the last season of football after the term of his patriots ended, and was hired by North Carolina in December to replace Mack Brown.

The 73 -year -old coach has won eight Super Bowls, six as chief coach with the Patriots and two as a defensive coordinator of the New York Giants.
