The Chicago puppies box, Matt Shaw, was far from the team on Sunday when they faced the Cincinnati Reds to attend the commemorative service of Charlie Kirk in Arizona, according to multiple reports.

The puppies did not confirm that Shaw was at Kirk service, but Chicago Sun-Times reported that manager Craig Counsell mentioned the media that Shaw was at a funeral for a friend.
