A moment of silence was held in honor of the influential conservative Charlie Kirk on Saturday night before the football match between the South Carolina Gamecocks and the Vanderbilt commoders.
Gavin J. Smith, the president of the INSPYRE group, said the moment in a publication on the photo of X. Smith showed a full house at the Williams-Brice stadium.

Kirk was killed during an event that celebrated on the Campus of the University of Utah Valley. I was 31 years old. His death shook the world of sport, since South Carolina was far from being the only team to maintain a moment of silence for Kirk.
The NFL honored Kirk before the game on Thursday night among Green Bay Packers and Washington commanders. The Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher, Blake Treinen, wrote Kirk’s name on his baseball cap and Nascar Christopher Bell’s star dedicated his victory in Bristol Motor Speedway.

“He inspired us not to be afraid of using our voice; so as not to be afraid of saying what they think,” said the president of the South Carolina Turning Point chapter, Mia Weathers, to Count on 2 News. “He inspired us to continue fighting for what we thought, and he simply raided the way and laid the foundations for many of us.”
Kirk was beaten by a single bullet around 12:20 pm local time on the Campus of the Utah Valley University in OREM on Wednesday. He was surrounded mostly university students when his event was starting.
The authorities arrested the alleged Tyler Robinson shooter on Friday.
