The Woods family has added more hardware to the trophy box.

Charlie Woods took home the Taylorming team’s title on Wednesday at the Streamsong Resort Black course at Bowling Green, Florida, for her first victory by American Junior Golf Association (AJGA).

Woods started the day tied at 9 bass and ended with a final round 66 to leave at the top of a field of 71 players that included four of the five best players in the AJGA.

Woods’ final round had eight birdies and two bogeys, and closed with four consecutive pairs. He won the event for three blows ahead of Luke Colton, Willie Gordon and Phillip Dunham.

Woods opened the tournament with a 70th round, but continued with a 65 on Tuesday. He was competing in his fifth AJGA event, and his best previous end was a draw for 25 at the Junior Invitational in Sage Valley in March.

Woods already has several victories in his curriculum, and his first arrived in the 14-15-year category in the main Hurricane Junior Golf Tour championship in June 2023. Later that year, he won the regional golf tournament of the last chance.

Last summer, he qualified to compete in the American junior amateur, but failed to cut. He recorded his first hole in the PNC Championship, where he associated with his father.

His father has 82 professional victories, tied with Sam Snead for most times. Fifteen of those victories have arrived in specialties, and their last important victory was the unforgettable Masters 2019.

Tiger, who has not won a tournament since Zozo 2019, is recovering from a broken achilles that suffered only a few weeks before this year’s masters. In 18 official events since he ended up tied in ninth place in 2020 Farmers Insurance Open, his best end was a draw for 37 in the PGA 2020 championship.

Last year, Tiger competed in just five events, including invitational genesis and the other four specialties. He retired from Genesis, ended the last dead in the Masters and the cut was lost in the last three largest.
