The recent update of the chatgpt image almost broke the Internet, and certainly exerted a ton of pressure on the large stack of OpenAi graphic processors, and now the users are obtaining a dedicated space within the chatbot interface for their images of AI.
As announced by OpenAI (through The Verge), the new library tab appears in mobile applications and the web interface for chatgpt. It is also universally available, whether or not to pay for a subscription to the bot ai.
The update has already been shown within the web interface for my own account, and everything is quite simple to use: the tab collects all the images it has generated, in each chat of its history, and can click on an image for the edition and the download options. You can also create a new image in the library section.
Eliminate a chat and the images included are also eliminated from the library tab. There is still nothing on the path of search or filtering of images, but, of course, these characteristics could be implemented as the characteristic evolves.

It seems that we are seeing a new image trend that appears every week, whether they are representations inspired by Studio Ghibli, turning people into action figures or imagining how their pet would look like a human being.
Given the recent impulse in the quality of the images that Chatgpt can make, at free and paid levels, it makes sense that Openai creates a separate space to keep them, previously users had to dig through individual conversations to find them.
It also links the rumors we have heard about Operai working on a social network. Apparently, these plans are in their early stages, but if Chatgpt became more social, it is easy to see how the exchange of images could be a large part of that: as Instagram, but with images and videos generated by the dominating.
