There are no answers
This is how the interruption is seen when you try to obtain a quick response from Chatgpt 4.
What is remarkable here is that the platform is not low, but Chatgpt’s ability to answer after ingesting a notice seems compromised.
Chatgpt has not yet recognized any problem in its feed X (previously Twitter), but we will monitor it for updates.
Not down
The Downdector Reports Tracker for Operai services has increased since morning (9 am et) and has been constantly elevated since then.
It is worth noting that the service is tracking all Operai and not just Chatgpt services. However, most of the reports we are seeing in another place only point to Chatgpt as the main culprit.
The interruption may not be global since our counterparts in the United Kingdom report that there are no problems with processing indications.
We are seeing them in the desktop application and iOS.
Reddit understands
While not everyone is informing problems, the interruption has increased to what we like to call “Reddit level.” That’s when the word of this is signed up for Reddit, a place where someone can stand up and say (publish), “Yoc Chatgpt is not working for me. What’s wrong?” Reddit 1.6b users will be in the case.
In this case, the user asked if he was down and then pointed out how his chat history seemed to have disappeared. Fortunately, our chat history is still in place.
Sora block
While we do not have many individual interruption reports for Sora, we discover that we can no longer log in to the generative video of video. That is a little worse than Chatgpt, where at least we can log in and enter a message that currently does not go anywhere.
Downetector does not break the individual OpenAi service platforms, but, since this is an openai interruption, we can safely assume that it may be affecting more than chatgpt.
Signs of life
While we successfully enter a warning and receive a chatgpt response, the results are slowly spitted, as a second by word. Therefore, there is still slow here and we are not clear if Openai and Chatgpt are out of the forest, yet.

Openai confirms
While we still don’t have to receive OpenAi’s response, its own state system reveals continuous problems.
“We are currently experiencing problems,” says the page and specifically points to Chatgpt and “higher error rates.”
Although Operai does not call Sora, we can see in the table that he has also had some blows this morning.
Sora returning
We could log in successfully in Sora, enter a warning and generate a video. That is good news for all fans of anthropomorphic animals (our own personal generative video theme).
Even so, if Openai servers have problems, you may want to wait a bit for the platform to erase the covers before delivering any critical mission work.
The recovery continues
All key chatgpt models are now working again, at least in our tests, but the results still flow very slowly. While it is a bit frustrating, it is preferable that the models are not completely available.
Similarly, the descent reports for OpenAI have been in Declive, and that is a good sign of the broader audience.
A return to normal
As you can see in the previous table, Openai and Chatgpt in particular, is returning to normal operations.
Operai offered a small update on its state page regarding the interruption, noting that the problem was identified and is working on “implementing mitigation.” Regardless of what Operai is doing, it seems to be working.
Regular speed
Multiple chatgpt tests show that the generative ai platform is not only back, but is essentially speed. 4th, O1 and 03-mini are returning answers almost instantly (those reasoned are designed to receive a rhythm before spitting an answer).
Difficult day for many AI
When Chatgpt interruption reports emerged for the first time, we noticed that perplexity was, according to Downetector. He recovered quickly, but now we are seeing the Claude users of Anthrope informing service problems.
Okay, Claude AI is not as popular or widely used as chatgpt, but one has to wonder if these interruptions are somehow connected.
It is possible that some systems depend on the same web services provider (let’s say everyone was using AWS). It is not likely, but the coincidence is interesting and, for now, inexplicable.
Meanwhile, Chatgpt has almost returned to normal.
Could have been worse
A closer look at the OpenAI status page reveals an activity time of more than 99% for Sora and Chatgpt, a large record to any extent. In addition, this interruption, which seems almost resolved, did not extend worldwide.
Multiple verifications with our counterparts from the United Kingdom found a receptive chatpt service capable of instantly responding to any message.
In fact, this interruption does not even guarantee a red bar. There were interruptions in December 2024 and January this year that were much more severe.
It’s over
According to the OpenAI status page, there is no problem anymore. Techradar can confirm that chatgpt now works normally. Now is the time to return to work with these penguins.
