Chehlum observed through Pakistan with religious reverence

Imam Hussain’s Chehlum (RA) and Karbala martyrs were observed in Karachi with religious reverence and solemnity. The Central Duel Meeting (Majlis-E-Aza) was held at Nishtar Park under the auspices of Pak Muharram Hall, where the famous scholar Allama Shahenshah Naqvi delivered a sermon in the tribulations of the Ceba Ahl-E.

After Majlis, Chehlum’s main procession began and proceeded along Ma Jinnah Road to Imambargah Ali Raza, where Allama Nazir Abbas Taqvi directed the Congregational Prayers of Zuhrain.

Then, the procession followed its traditional route, passing through the marine breeze, the Empress market, the center of the Tibet, the Jama fabric market and the lighthouse, concluding in Husainia Iranian Imambargah in Kharadar.

They were in their place tight security arrangements, with travel doors installed at the entry and exit points of the procession, and routes sealed with barricades, tank trucks and containers. Throughout the procession, the Duel Groups (Matami Anjumans) recited elegies and made Matam. The devotees paid tribute to symbolic representations of Zuljanah (the horse of the Imam Hussain Ra), Alams (flags) and Taboots (reflicts of coffins).

Food and drink distributions, including Biryani, Sheermal, Sherbet, Water and TEA, were also made as offerings (Nazr-O-Niyaz), while women made special arrangements for the mourners, including water stating (knows).

In addition, to mitigate the effects of heat, water was sprayed along the route, while ambulances and medical camps were parked throughout the processional route. Governor Kamran Tessori and the additional IG Javed Alam Ode also participated in the procession.

Chehlum, Urs of Data Ganj Bakhsh concludes in Lahore

The Imam Hussain Chehlum (RA) and the final ceremonies of the USA Hajveri, widely known as Ganj Bakhsh (RA) data, were observed in Punjab on Friday under extensive security agreements. The security forces sealed the connection streets, the snipers parked on the roofs and monitored routes through CCTV in real time provided by the Punjab Safístadas cities authority. Travel doors, 6,753 metal detectors and 926 control points for the exam were established.

Official women were deployed for women and children, while Plainlothes personnel monitored the crowds.
“Maintaining peace and protecting all citizens is our mission,” Kamran said, urging public cooperation for sensitive occasions.

The Punjab police inspector, Dr. Usman, Anwar, praised the “excellent security arrangements” and praised CCPO Lahore, excavation operations and senior officers for their coordination.

He pointed out that the law enforcement agencies had been on a maximum alert for several days, implementing measures against a wheel, aerial shots and other violations during religious celebrations and independence day earlier.

Police reported 277 arrests and 249 cases during repression, including 162 arrests for a wheel and 13 for aerial shots.

Karbala honest martyrs in Rawalpindi

The grandson of the Holy Prophet (SAW), Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA), and Karbala’s martyrs were observed in Rawalpindi with solemn reverence, deep religious fervor and sincere devotion.

Six duel processions, with Zuljinnah, Tazia and Alam, were taken in memory of the martyrs, which culminated late at night in Imambargah Qadeem after following their designated routes.

Along the procession roads, stalls were established that offered cold water, soft drinks and tea. The mourners paid tribute to the eternal sacrifice of the martyrs of Karbala for the cause of Islam through elegies (Nauhakhwani), hitting the chest (Matam) and the self -flagellation with chains (Zanjeerzani).

The first duel procession began at 1:30 pm of Imambargah Aashiq Hussain, through Teli Mohalla, Murree Road, Chowk and Iqbal Road committee before merging with the main procession of Colonel Imambargah Maqbool Hussain.

Zuhr and ASR congregational sentences were offered in Fawwara Chowk, while Maghib and Isha prayers were held in Jamia Masjid Road. Women and children participated in large quantities.

Imambargah Hifazat Ali Shah processions, Imambargah Darbar Shah Chan Chiragh, and Imambargah Shuhada-E-Karbala, all with Zuljinnah, converged in Purana Qila Chowk. The Central Procession of Imambargah Baltistania, Angat Pura, began in Dingi Khoi, proceeded through Banni Chowk and Jamia Masjid Road, and concluded in Imambargah Qadeem in Maghrib.

A security detail that includes 4,000 people was deployed, with called rangers and the Triple-one brigade was placed on red alert. The processions were closely monitored through drones and closed circuit television cameras. Tehreek Chief Nifqh Jafariya, Allama Muqaddasi, attended along with the senior officials of the District Administration and Police, in addition to the members of the Peace Committees.

Before processions began, mourning meetings were held in several imambargahs, where academics paid tribute to the philosophy of martyrdom and the supreme sacrifice of Hazrat imam Hussain (RA) and his companions.
