Islamabad:
A main leader of the Indian Congress Party gave a severe blow to the narrative of the government of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying that there was no evidence that the assailants, who carried out Pahalgam’s attack on April 22, had come from Pakistan.
As the Indian forces claimed to have killed “three foreign terrorists” linked to Pahalgam’s attack in the Jammu and Kashmir of the Indians, Kashmir (Iiojk), former Indian Minister P Chidambaram questioned why the Government did not launch the research report of the National Research Agency (NIA).
The Indian army said in a statement in social networks that the three were killed “in an intense shooting” near the Hindu Sanctuary of Amarnath in the mountains of Dachigam, about 30 kilometers from Srinagar.
Although the army did not identify the deceased, a police officer told AFP on anonymity that all were “foreigners.” However, two Indian television news channels said it was suspected that men were behind Pahalgam’s attack.
However, in Pakistan, state media when quoting security sources said that India had started a new undercover military operation, “Operation Mahadev”, aimed at organizing false meetings to cover the failure of their previous campaign, “Operation Sindoor”.
According to this plan, according to a Pakistan radio report, the Indian army was killing Pakistani citizens detained in staged shootings, qualifying them as “terrorists” to deceive the international community. He added that Operation Mahadev aimed to suppress the movement of freedom in Iiojk.
On April 22, armed men shot 26 tourists in Pahalgam. By presenting any evidence, India blamed Pakistan. Pakistan vehemently denied the accusation and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif offered an independent investigation into the incident and offered the total cooperation of Pakistan.
However, at night between May 6 and 7, India triggered missiles to Pakistani civil objectives in six cities under its ‘Sindor operation’. However, Pakistan gave a blunt response, demolishing six Indian combat planes, including three rafale planes.
In addition, Pakistan launched the Bunyanum Marsoos operation on the morning of May 10, hitting 26 Indian military objectives, inflicting strong damage to the enemy’s war machines. Hours later, India agreed to stop the fire after the intervention of the president of the United States, Donald Trump.
During an interview given to the Indian newspaper ‘The Quint’, Chidambaram said that the government of Prime Minister Narendra Modi had not yet presented any evidence that those who attacked Pahalgam had come from Pakistan.
“The second is that the government is not presenting the NIA report to see what the agency investigated during this time. Was the agency able to identify the terrorists? And where did they come from?
He said the Indian government was hiding the losses incurred during the four -day war. When asked what he was trying to hide the Indian government, Chidambaram said the government was trying to hide what the Indian chief of defense had pointed out that India made strategic errors.
The Pakistan Radio Report said that Operation Mahadev tries to restore the decrease in the political credibility of the Modi government, after the shame of the Sindoor operation, which ended in failure after the aggressive position of India against Pakistan failed.
According to the report, on April 24, two innocent citizens of Kashmir, Muhammad Farooq and Muhammad Deen, were extrajudicially killed by the Indian forces after the border crossed by mistake.
In addition, the general director of Public Relations between Services (ISPR) revealed in April that 723 Pakistani were illegally arrested in Indian prisons, with another 56 disappeared by Indian intelligence agencies.
There are increasing fears that these detainees can be used in false meetings under the MAHADEV operation, where they could coerce them to record anti-Pakistan statements before being killed and labeled as “terrorists.”
The sources indicate that the Indian media are being fed with false videos, planted weapons and images staged immediately after these meetings to reinforce the false statements of New Delhi. This tactic reflects the operations of the False Flag India, where innocent people were framed as militants to justify military aggression.
The Mahadev operation would constitute a serious violation of international law and human rights, according to sources. Pakistan has repeatedly exposed the history of the false meetings of India, including the False Flag operation of Pahalgam earlier this year, which India used to justify his military aggression.
The United Nations has been requested from human rights organizations to investigate the alleged atrocities of India in IIOJK. With tensions still boiling over the conflict of India-Pakistan of May 2025, the international community must avoid a greater escalation by holding India for their actions.
