China reiterates unwavering support for Pakistan

China’s Foreign Minister Wang Yi, has reiterated the unwavering support of his country for Pakistan’s efforts to combat all forms of terrorism and expressed confidence in the continuous role of the Pakistani army to guarantee the security of personnel, projects and Chinese institutions in Pakistan.

The reaffirmation occurred during a high -level meeting between General Syed, Munir, head of Pakistan Army personnel, and Wang Yi, a member of the Political Office of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and director of the Office of the Central Commission of Foreign Affairs on Thursday in Beijing.

Congratulating General Munir for his recent elevation to the range of Marshal of the Campo, Wang Yi praised the Pakistan army as a firm guardian of national sovereignty and a strong pillar of the lasting friendship of China-Pakistan. He expressed full confidence in the continuous role of the Pakistani armed forces in the progress of the strategic association between the two nations.

When describing China and Pakistan as “friends Ironclad” and “strategic partners for all climate”, Wang emphasized that Pakistan remains a diplomatic priority for China. He affirmed China’s disposition to work in close collaboration with Pakistan to implement the strategic consensus achieved by the leader of both countries, deepen bilateral cooperation and jointly promote peace and stability in the region.

General Munir, in turn, reaffirmed the deep appreciation of Pakistan for the constant and constant support of China towards his socioeconomic development. He reiterated the firm commitment of the Pakistani army to guarantee the safety of Chinese citizens and companies in Pakistan.
