AMD has presented its MI350 instinct GPU of the series, promising an amazing 4X improvement for AI performance compared to the chips of previous generation, enough for Nvidia to worry about the mastery of the market of its Blackwell chips.
The company’s CEO, Lisa Su, also revealed details of the Helios Ai Rack, which will be based on the next -generation MI400 series, as well as the AMD EPYV CPU Venice and AMD thinking of Vulcano NICS.
The news occurred at the AI 2025 Conference of AI 2025 of AMD, along with a series of other hardware, software and AI ads.

In addition to the 4X improvement for AI yield, AMD also has a 35x generational improvement of 35x in inference, as well as price yield profits, unlocking 40% more tokens per dollar compared to its key rival such as the rival, Nvidia B200.
Despite the Nvidia market domain, AMD proudly states that seven out of 10 of the largest models and companies use their instinct accelerators, including target, OpenAi, Microsoft and XAI.
MI300X has been deployed for flame infection 3 and 4 with target and patented and open source models with Azure, among others.
In addition to performance, AMD is also in its environmental objectives, claiming that its GPU of the MI350 series exceeded the five -year organizational objective to improve the energy efficiency of AI training and high -performance computer nodes in 30x, reaching a 38x figure.
By 2030, the company also wants to increase energy efficiency at 20x rack scale compared to 2024, and already predicts a 95% reduction in electricity for typical training of the AI model.
Looking towards the future, the MI400 Instints series GPUs are expected to deliver up to 10 times more performance inference in the mixture of expert models.
Despite the bold statements, AMD market capitalization remains considerably lower than Nvidia, reaching $ 192.14 billion at the time of publication.
“AMD is promoting the innovation of AI at an unprecedented pace, highlighted by the launch of our AMD Instinct Mi350 series, advances in our next -generation ‘helios’ rack scale solutions and a growing impulse for our Rocm Open software battery,” said his.
“We are entering the next phase of AI, driven by open standards, shared innovation and the expanding leadership of AMD in a wide ecosystem of hardware and software partners that are collaborating to define the future of AI.”
