Chris Hemsworth fans are excited as the release of his new movie Crime 101 approaches.
The action thriller features the 42-year-old as a jewel thief alongside Mark Ruffalo, who acts as a detective and does everything he can to capture him.
Crime 101 is considered an adult film as it reportedly features “typical old school” action.
According to the Thor actor, he is hopeful that the upcoming Bart Layton-directed film will do well in theaters because he believes adult crime thrillers do well in theaters.
While speaking to Discussing Films, Chris said, “In a huge blockbuster movie franchise that we both know inhabited that space for many years.”
“I’m incredibly grateful because in a time where social media and other media are ramping up and broadcasting whatever,” he continued.
The extraction The star further explained, “This got people coming to the movies and now I think there’s a resurgence in appetite for movies like this, because there’s nothing like sitting in a movie theater with a group of strangers with a big box of popcorn.”
Crime 101, In addition to starring Chris and Mark, it also stars Barry Keoghan, Halle Berry and Monica Barbaro. The film will hit theaters around the world on February 13.
