“I had to make the best decision for myself, and also in the long term for my team.”
Pulisic added that he asked the coaches of the US national team. If he could play in the two friendly matches against Türkiye and Switzerland, which was understood as warm -up before the Gold Cup. The staff told him no, and Pulisic said they wanted “a list” for friendlies and the Golden Cup.

Pulisic, who had 11 goals and nine assists in 34 games for AC Milan last season, had a goal and two assists in the four team games in 2022.
He had a goal and an assistance in three games for the US team. In 2024 too.
