Christine Taylor has accredited her role as Marcia Brady in The Brady Group Film for helping their land to separate in the 1996 horror movie Crafts.
Talk with People’s magazineChristine explained that, although Marcia was not a villain, she had a “little villain” side that helped her play the villain in Crafts.
She said: “I did the crafts like a little after making the movie Brady Bunch, and Marcia, in a way, is her own villain.”
“Although it is not openly a villain in Brady’s group, I felt that there were small parts and pieces of her,” Christine added.

“I really think Andy Fleming, our director, had seen Brady’s group and there is something about how I played that role that made him think it would be a great Laura Lizzy,” said the actress. “At least Marcia has a heart and she comes to a complete circle and loves her family, but Laura Lizzy really got what was coming.”
Christine Taylor recalled having filmed an intense school bullying scene, saying that director Andy Fleming “would push me a little” after each shot.
“I really need you because what she is going to do later has to make sense,” he recalled that he said.
