- Chuwi’s new chuwi X presents Intel I9-13900HK and 32 GB of RAM
- No discreet GPU limits performance for heavier work loads
- Livian 2k laptop offers offers solid specifications, but lacks a graphic blow
The Chinese manufacturer of laptops Chuwi has announced a new version of its COREBOGO X notebook, promoted by a “Raptor Lake” processor of 13th Intel Core I9-13900hk Gen.
This chip was launched in the first quarter of 2023 and has 14 nuclei and 20 threads and can reach watch speeds up to 5.4 GHz. It comes with integrated Intel Iris XE graphics, so it will offer reasonable performance for tasks such as content creation, productivity and light games.
However, it is a shame that there is no discreet GPU option for those who need more graphic thrust.
Reasonably light
The new Corbook X I9-13900HK has 32 GB of RAM DDR4, updateable at 96 GB, and a 1TB SSD PCIE. You can add a second SSD M.2 2280 if you need more storage.
The laptop measures about 12 x 9 x 0.7 inches and has an IPS 2K (2160 x 1440) 14 -inch (2160 x 1440) screen with an appearance ratio 3: 2 that covers 100% of the SRGB colors range and offers a 85% screen ratio. It weighs 3.09 lb (1.4 kg) and has a backlit keyboard and a 5.8 -inch touch panel.
COREBÓN X I9-13900HK comes with a 46.2Wh battery, which Chuwi says it will provide up to 8 hours between charges. Fast charging support allows you to reach 60% in less than an hour. The laptop cooling system has dual copper pipes and a dedicated fan to keep the temperature low when it is under load.
It comes with a complete USB-C port, two USB 3.0 type A, HDMI ports, an 3.5 mm audio connector and a microSD card slot. Wireless connectivity is Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2.
It is not yet known about prices or availability, but the Coropebook X I9-13900HK is expected to be launched in the coming months.
