LAHORE:
The president of the Islamic Ideology Council (CII), Dr. Raghib Hussain Naemi, announced on Thursday the prescribed rates of the current year for SADQA-E-Fitr and Fidya so that people with means disadvantaged the disadvantaged people.
SADQA-E-FIT is mandatory for each Muslim, slave or free, man or woman, young or older, who owns the media, said Dr. Naeemi. He announced that the minimum amount for SADQA-E-Fitr and Fidya per person was RS220 this year.
According to the announcement, rates could vary according to different products.
