The New York Yankes fighters have had another great loss, this time in the front of the injury.
The starting pitcher Clarke Schmidt “probably” will require the surgery of Tommy John, said manager Aaron Boone on Saturday, according to The New York Post.
Tommy John’s surgery would put aside Schmidt for the rest of this season and probably the whole next season.

Schmidt, 29, has become a key headline for the Yankees this season, since it has an effectiveness of 3.32 in 14 games that began this season. Recently established the franchise record with 28 1/3 consecutive entries without goals.
If Schmidt really needs a surgery of Tommy John, it will be the second time that the right -handed pitcher underwent surgery in his career. Schmidt underwent Tommy John surgery in May 2017, only one month before the Yankees selected it in the first Round of the MLB draft outside of South Carolina.
“Every time you get a magnetic resonance in your forearm, or whatever the body part, you don’t feel happy,” Schmidt said before learning the results of the tests.
Schmidt was initially placed in the IL with right forearm pain, which he began at his departure on June 4 against the Cleveland guardians.

Schmidt only launched three entries in the team’s defeat against Toronto Blue Jays on Thursday. It allowed three races won in four hits in those three tickets before leaving the game due to an injury.
With the loss of Schmidt in the predictable future, the initial rotation of the Yankees is in disorder.
Max Fried and Carlos Rodon are a formidable blow, but after them, the rotation is full of question signs.
Ryan Yarbrough is on the lesions list with an oblique injury, and has not begun to launch. Reigning to the rookie of the year, Luis Gil, threw the batters for the first time on June 21 while increasing a latin injury.

Marcus Stroman has made two openings since he left the IL with a knee injury, but it cannot be trusted in him, since he has an effectiveness of 7.45 in five openings this season. The rookie Will Warren has shown shine flashes, but sometimes he has had problems, since he has an effectiveness of 5.02 in 18 games.
The Yankees are calling Cam Schlittler to replace Schmidt in the rotation, according to a New York Post report.
Schlittler has an effectiveness of 3.52 in 15 games (14 openings) in Double-A and Triple-A this season.

Fried, Rodon, Stroman, Warren and according to the reports, Schlittler currently make up the rotation for a Yankees team that has lost five in a row.
The Yankees fell first for the first time since April and follow the Toronto Blue Jays for two games.
