- Anthrope is expected to throw a claude voice mode
- A Bloomberg report states that the voice mode will be released with three voices
- Voice modes, research tools, reasoning models: the same, but different
Claude Ai Chatbot of Anthrope will be updated with a new voice mode, since the company with a minority property of Amazon seems to catch up with Chatgpt and Gemini.
According to a new Bloomberg report, Claude’s new feature called “Voice mode” could be launched as soon as this month.
The information comes from “a person familiar with the matter who was not authorized to discuss private matters,” who says that the voice assistant will have three voices at the launch.
The voices entitled Airy, Mellow and Buttery will give Claude the opportunity to choose between three diverse accents, although nothing is yet confirmed, and Anthrope could opt for more or less voices in the release.
Claude’s closest competitors, Openai’s chatgpt and Google Gemini, both have their own respective voice modes. Chatgpt Advanced Voice Mode and Gemini Live allow users to chat with AI, making the experience more conversational and natural.
With Claude potentially throwing their name into the mixture, consumers will have another voice assistant to choose from. But he raises the question: Does the population care?
Only another Tick AI box
The chatbots of AI seem to follow the steps of the other. If that is the introduction of a reasoning model, a research model, a model of image generation or, in this case, a voice mode.
Whether you are using Chatgpt, Gemini, Deepseek or even Claude, the user’s experience with each chatbot is becoming so similar that, regardless of which one will use, it will end with a similar result.
Obviously, in a fast movement industry like AI, it is a race to release its product faster than its competitors, but as a consumer, we end. New constant launches of the same type of characteristic, repaired and marketed by competing technology companies.
Claude’s voice mode, when I arrive, will be another Tick-Box box exercise for an AI company that seeks to have its product on a leveling playing field with its competition.
As a consumer, I want these artificial intelligence companies to throw the play book and try new things. The voice modes are great, and make chatbots even easier to use.
However, when it comes to new AI software releases, I have started asking me: do you care about the company? Or is it just a cash exercise?
With luck, Claude’s voice mode innovates the world of the voice attendees of AI, but until I see their potential, I completely hope another launch of which is exactly the same as the other 10 options that exist.
