The leader of the Dumper Truck Association, Liaquat Mehsud, said his protest was in response to the torch of Dumper’s trucks in the mafia. He criticized the Sindh government for imposing restrictions on the Dumper truck movement from morning to 10 pm and said it was harmful to the industry.
He said that the authorities were now competing for a complete prohibition of Dumper truck operations and confirmed that all operating points have been closed in protest.
The authorities warned that if the blockade continues, the city’s traffic system could face severe interruption since tensions remain high.
