An earlier leak on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) website showing that regulated futures for XRP (XRP) and Solana (SOL) could begin trading on February 10 pending regulatory approval was a “mistake.” “a company representative told CoinDesk.
“A beta page on our website was published in error today,” the spokesperson said. “Many mockups are included in that test environment. “No decisions have been made regarding the XRP or SOL futures contracts.”
A screenshot of a beta page for the XRP (XRP) and Solana (SOL) futures contracts was posted on X on Wednesday, sparking rumors that the exchange could prepare to list those investment vehicles on February 10.
Both tokens rose as much as 3% post-publication, before paring some of their gains.
