The head of the Army personnel (COAS), General Syed also visited Wana and Dera Ismail Khan, where EID celebrated with officers and soldiers parked along the border, said public relations between services of the military alos (ISPR) in a statement.
According to ISPR, the Army Chief praised the unwavering dedication of troops and their exemplary service to the nation. He also praised the Armed Forces, the agencies of application of the law and the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for their resilience.
“The people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have shown immense courage in the fight against terrorism, and the commitment of our soldiers with national defense is great pride,” said General Munir.
In addition, he declared that the sacrifices and unwavering commitment of the soldiers were the “guarantee of the security of our nation” and reflected their deep love for Pakistan.
The Army Chief also paid tribute to the martyrs, emphasizing that their struggle for peace and stability formed the basis of the country’s success against terrorism.
The general also offered Eid sentences with the troops and prayed for the stability and prosperity of Pakistan, added the ISPR statement.
