The ISPR also stressed that intelligence reports confirmed the participation of Afghan nationals in the attack, which was directed by Khwarij leaders based in Afghanistan.
Pakistan urged the Afghan government to assume responsibility and prevent its territory from being used for terrorist activities against Pakistan. Islamabad has long asked Kabul to control the TTP, although the Afghan government denies these accusations.
General Munir reaffirmed that any entity would not be allowed to interrupt Pakistan’s peace and stability, and the military would continue their efforts to guarantee people’s safety.
The attack, made by terrorists who use vehicles loaded with explosives, attacked the perimeter of the cliff, damaging nearby houses and a mosque. The number of dead for the attack reached 18, including five soldiers that were martyred in the fulfillment of duty during the subsequent shooting with the terrorists.
The military media wing, public relations between services (ISPR), reported that terrorists allegedly received instructions from Afghanistan -based managers. In response, security forces neutralized the 16 attackers, including four suicide bombers.
