The head of the Army staff (COAS) field, also made a high -level official visit to the People’s Republic of China, where he held a series of meetings with Chinese Chinese political leadership Senior to further reinforce the strategic association between the two fraternal nations, they said in a statement on Friday in a statement.

During these commitments, issues of mutual interest were discussed, including the evolving regional and global security environment, continuous connectivity initiatives under the economic corridor of China-Pakistan (CPEC) and coordinated approaches for emerging geopolitical challenges.

“Both parties expressed satisfaction on the depth of bilateral participation and reiterated their shared commitment to sovereign equality, multilateral cooperation and long -term regional stability,” Ispric said.
Chinese leadership recognized the professionalism of Pakistan’s armed forces, describing them as an cornerstone of resilience and a vital taxpayer to peace and stability in southern Asia, added the ISPR.
On the military side, the General Munir held detailed meetings with General Zhang Yoxia, vice president of the Central Military Commission (CMC); General Chen Hui, political commissioner of the Army of Pla; and Lieutenant General Cai Zhai Jun, Chief of Cabinet of the Army Pla.
Military discussions focused on strengthening defense and security cooperation, including collaboration against terrorism, training and joint exercises, defense modernization and improved institutional links.
“Both parties stressed the importance of operational interoperability and strategic coordination to effectively counteract hybrid and transnational threats,” said the ISPR.
Chinese military leadership expressed full confidence in the strength of the bilateral defense relationship and recognized the fundamental role of Pakistan in the promotion of regional peace and stability, the statement added.

The Coas Munir gene conveyed the appreciation for China’s constant support and reaffirmed Pakistan’s resolution to further expand military cooperation in all domains.
Upon reaching the headquarters of the Army of Pla, the Coas was presented with an honor guard, reflecting the long camaraderie and the deep military ties between the armed forces of Pakistan and China, the statement said.
“The visit reflects the growing depth of political-military ties between the two fraternal nations and underlines its shared resolution to advance regional security through a dialogue and high-level commitments,” the ISPR concluded.
