After the ceremony, the field marshal was witnessed a live firepower demonstration of Z-10me helicopters in Muzaphargarh field shots ranges. The screen showed the modernized response capabilities of the army and the integration of combined weapons tactics, said the ISPR.
The COAS was received by the body commander and reported at the headquarters of the body on ongoing training activities and the general operational preparation of the formation. He expressed satisfaction with the high state of preparation and reaffirmed the unwavering army commitment to defend national sovereignty and territorial integrity, reads in the statement.
General Munir also conducted an interactive session with members of the Academy and civil society, where he emphasized the importance of national unity, civil-military synergy and an approach to the entire nation to counteract hybrid threats and promote social cohesion, he added.
In his interaction with the troops, the Army Chief praised his high morality, professionalism and combat preparation. He praised the effective demonstration of the tactics of the battlefield, reiterating the army resolution of maintaining an advantage amid evolving threats, the statement concluded.
