Coas urges young people to focus on tasks, avoid ‘critic without foundation’


The Chief of Army Personnel (COAS), Syed also Munir, urged the young people of Pakistan to prioritize their duties and responsibility for themselves to participate in criticism without foundation, the state station Radio Pakistan reported on Sunday.

Going to students at the CMH Institute of Medical Sciences in Bahawalpur, Gen Munir emphasized the importance of academic excellence and equip young people with the skills to contribute to national development.

The army chief praised the role of young people in the configuration of the future of Pakistan and reiterated the army’s commitment to support initiatives that enhance young talent.

The general also warned that false narratives were spreading to undermine the State’s efforts against terrorism.

During the visit, the Chief of the Army also inaugurated the Innovist Cholistan project and the integrated combat simulator sand, which ISPR described as key steps to advance medical education, information technology and combat preparation.

Previously, upon arrival, Coas was received by the Bahawalpur body commander.

During his visit, General Munir went to officers and troops, praising his dedication, high moral and combat preparation.

He stressed that rigorous training is still fundamental for the professional development of a soldier and should continue to be a defining characteristic of Pakistan’s army to address modern war challenges.
