Coas warns about the quick and resolved response to any military misfortune by India

The head of the Army personnel, the general also Munir, warned Thursday that any military adventurism for India would find an “immediate, resolved and high level” response, since he observed a large -scale fighting exercise during a visit to the ranges of Tilla field shooting.

The general also made the comments while observing the Hammer Strike exercise, a large -scale field drill made by the army mangrove -based headquarters to prove the operational preparation and the integration of the modern armament in simulated combat conditions, the military said.

“Pakistan wants regional peace, but our preparation and commitment to defend national interests are unwavering,” said Munir, according to a statement from the Army Media Wing, public relations between services (ISPR).

The exercise presented an exhibition of military power of several domains, which includes long -range artillery, combat helicopters, air support and advanced engineering techniques. The troops of all military branches participated with high levels of coordination, agility and tactical ability.

General Munir praised the soldiers and officers for his high moral, professional excellence and combat spirit. He described the exercise as a reflection of the operational superiority of the Pakistan army and the continuous advance in war capabilities.

“Hammer Strike exercise is a clear example of continuous professional evolution of the Pakistan army, innovative combat strategies and technological modernization,” he said.

Superior military leadership, training commanders and dignitaries of several services observed the exercise.

The statement of the Army Chief is produced in the midst of growing tensions between Pakistan and India after the deadly attack of April 22 in Pahalgam, he occupied Kashmir, which left 26 people dead, mostly tourists. This attack is one of the most mortal in the region since 2000.

India has suggested cross -border links without providing evidence, a claim that Pakistan has strongly rejected, instead, asking for independent and neutral investigation.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, on Saturday, described Pahalgam’s attack as another example of the ongoing guilt game, stating that Pakistan is open to any “neutral and transparent” investigation on the incident in the Kashmir occupied by India.

On Wednesday, the Deputy Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, Ishaq Dar, reiterated that, although Pakistan will not seek to intensify the situation, any provocation would meet a solid response.

Meanwhile, global powers, including the United States, the United Kingdom, China, Türkiye and Qatar, have urged both nations to reduce tensions and look for diplomatic solutions.
