Sean Kanan plays Mike Barnes in the Karate Kid Universe, and after appearing in Cobra Kai, he says he has a plan for a spin -off.
During an interview with the amazing films, he said he would like to be paired with his Costa Yuji Okumoto, who plays Chozen, for a comedy of friends where they “teach Karate day and work as night detectives”, which he thinks would be “very fun.”
“I think it would be incredible, I would love to do that. I thought it would be a bit fun if you had Chozen and Mike Barnes as roommates together, and Mike Barnes is really clean, and Chozen is like a disaster and a neighborhood,” he said.
The actor continued: “And they are two types that try to navigate the quotes scene at age 50. They may teach Karate by day and work as detectives at night.”
“I think it would be very fun to make some kind of spin -off. I would be incredibly honest and excited for something like that. Who knows?” Be concluded.
