Mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country, while very cold conditions are likely in the mountainous areas during the next twelve hours, Radio Pakistan reported on Thursday.
However, during the afternoon and evening, partly cloudy weather with light rain and snowfall may occur in Kashmir and adjoining hilly areas. Smog and fog are expected to persist in isolated flat areas of Punjab and upper Sindh during morning and evening hours.
Frost is likely to form in isolated areas of Islamabad, Pothohar region and KP during the morning.
