The temperature in Karachi dropped to 9.2°C on Friday night as the city continued to experience a cold wave.

According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), the cold is caused by northeasterly winds from Balochistan, which have been hitting the city.

These winds have intensified the cold, making the weather noticeably colder in Karachi.

The weather forecast for the next 24 hours predicts that cold and dry conditions will continue in the city.

The humidity level in Karachi today is recorded at 48%, contributing to the overall chilliness of the air.

With temperatures expected to remain low, Karachi residents are bracing themselves for a few more days of cold weather.

Chief meteorologist Sardar Sarfraz confirmed on Friday that while the winds are strong, they will not cause dust storm-like conditions.

The current cold snap is expected to persist, keeping temperatures at the lower end of the scale for the next few days.
