Colin Kaapernick is hoping another NFL opportunity

Colin Kaepernick has not been a click in the NFL since January 1, 2017, but does not prevent him from maintaining the hope of another shot as a field marshal in the league.

Kaepernick’s girlfriend, NESSA Diab, revealed that the former San Francisco 49ers star, who knelt during the national anthem in 2016 in protest of racial injustice in the United States, is still training for an NFL opportunity.

“All day, every day,” he told TMZ Sports over the weekend. “Nothing has changed.”

She added that “of course” he still wants to play.

“Everything depends on the teams if they leave it,” he said.

Kaepernick, 37, was suitable for the 49ers during the 2016 season. He was 17 of 22 for 215 yards and a touchdown against the Seattle Seahawks. Since then, the teams have not been interested in Kaepernick enough to take it to their list, even in the training camp.

Kaepernick has also built its social activist platform through Know Your Rights Camp and Kaepernick Publishing. He has compared the draft of the NFL with a slave auction, requested the abolition of the application of the law and suggested that the NFL has not taken significant measures to address social injustices.

At the end of last year, he admitted to NPR that he missed football and was still training in case he called a team.

“I will always miss him,” he told The Outlet in October while promoting his new children’s book “We Are Free You & Me”. “And I keep training for it.

“At the end of the day, I don’t want to be in a position where I look back and I have to question if I gave everything to try to chase that. I will make sure that the reason I am not playing is not due to my ethics of work or commitment, but because I stayed out of that.”

Kaepernick told Pak Gazette that he still believed he could take a team to a Super Bowl.

“We are still training, still pressing,” he said. “So lucky. We just have to make one of these team owners open.

“It’s something that I have trained all my life, so to be able to step back to the field, I think it would be an important moment, a great achievement for me. I think I could bring a team a lot and help them win a championship.”
