The White House responded on Wednesday to New York Governor Kathy Hochul after the Democratic legislator hit President Donald Trump for an important change for NFL fans.

Scott Hanson, who organizes “NFL Redzone” on Sundays during the football season, said there will be commercials to the transmission despite the fact that the line of label of the program is “seven hours of free football football.”

“Business people handle the business and I have no voice about different elements that may or may not be in the program,” Hanson said in “The Pat McAfee Show.” “When you see me in the air, we are going to get to Octobox. We have eight games in the early window, taking you to all the different cities. And then, when we enter it, ‘Ladies and gentlemen, more than 250 days have passed since the first Sunday of the complete NFL, but we are back. And the seven hours of Redzone’s football now start'”.

He argued that no fan would miss “any great football for any of the commercial side of things.”

Hanson’s revelation caused a ton of reaction in social networks, even Hochul. He asked ESPN and the NFL to “solve” the problem. “Redzone” will move to ESPN’s properties from 2026.

“More commercial, less football. Trump’s America,” Hochul wrote in X. “@nfl and @espn: You have time to solve this!”

The White House dismissed Hochul’s comment.

“What a fool to publish,” said Trump Steven Cheung spokesman for Pak Gazette Digital. “Too bad there is no cure for the stupid.”

Athletics offered details about how a “red zone” could be. WWE and Nascar have commercials during their weekly events.

NFL fans can see a double box with ads, according to The Athletic. According to reports, fans will listen to the audio of the ads while observing the action simultaneously.

“The sponsors have been an important part of the ‘NFL Redzone’ transmission for more than a decade,” said an NFL spokesman for The Outlet. “The NFL will continue to possess and operate ‘NFL Redzone’ in case that agreement is finalized.”
