A new report by cybersecurity researchers in Safety Detectives has revealed a large data set online by hackers in a CSV/JSON file containing a total of 3.1GB, according to reports, a total of around 61 million records ‘Verizon USA’. The author has dated this information as ‘2025’, which suggests a new potential data violation, although Verizon has since said Techradar Pro that has examined the published data, and are old data, not affiliated with the company.

The exposed information includes confidential data that include names, birth dates, fiscal identification, addresses and telephone numbers.
