One thing that I really like about this laptop is that the touchpad presents fast access icons to start applications, silence the volume and more. It is a good touch.

Touch … do you understand?

Here is the Swift Go 16 AI. It has a 2K OLED screen and a CPU Ultra CPU Core Intel capable of 120 tops (essentially how good the NPU is in AI tasks). The majority of co -pilot+ PC at this time offer around 40 tops (billion operations per second), so this should be a little faster in AI tasks on the device.

Will anyone care?

There is also the Acer Swift X 14 AI. From what I can say, it is quite identical to Swift X 14, but with AMD processors, instead, to an AMD Ryzen AI 9 365.

It is always good to see a portable computer for creatives that comes with a microSD slot.

I am currently taking a look at Acer Swift X 14, a thin and light portable computer with an OLED screen that looks fantastic in real life. It comes with the latest Intel Core Ultra chips (up to an ultra 9), and can even fit in a NVIDIA RTX 5070 GPU.

That is quite impressive for such a thin portable computer: I can easily hold it in one hand. However, this is not a laptop for games, and is more aimed at creators of digital content and creativity.

First Stop is to visit the previous view of the Acer competition. The company announced all its new devices a few days ago, and now I have the opportunity to see them in the meat.

If you ask what I hope to see in Computex 2025, see my article about what I hope to see. Spoiler alert: I think there will be a lot.

Matt Hanson informing! I arrived in Taipei and ready to see what Computex 2025 has in the store.
