- A personalized Windows 11 compilation, Tiny11 Builder, eliminates the Bloatware and is available to install in previous hardware
- Microsoft Windows 10 will reach its end on October 14, without more official support
- Tiny11 is available through a github script
It is almost the end of the road for Windows 10, with Microsoft eliminating the support for the popular operating system in favor of Windows 11 from October 14. That is not good for systems that do not meet the requirements of Windows 11, but there is a solution.
As reported by our friends in Tom’s Hardware, a Lighter Windows 11 custom compilation (through a script), Tiny11 Builder, is available in Github by NTDEVLABs, designed for older and less powerful hardware (regardless of system requirements), with its latest version that eliminates a significant part of the Windows 11 tloque, ready for Windows 11 25h2.
The characteristics and applications such as OneDrive, Office Hub, Edge and Outlook are eliminated in ‘Tiny11Maker’, which is the regular recommended script, as you can see in the surfsharkacademy youtube video below.
The new launch also presents ‘Tiny11Coremaker’, described as a “fast and dirty developed test” that eliminates a broader extension of Bloatware, but without the ability to update or add characteristics after creation.
This is a great benefit for current Windows 11 users like me, due to the frustrating experience of the background processes that spoil the game’s performance, and also for users who migrate from Windows 10. Your laptop or PC does not need to meet the requirements of the Windows 11 system to execute Tiny11, so it is an excellent option before Windows 10 disappearance.
It has also arrived at an ideal moment before the new ‘full screen experience’ through the Xbox application, which will be launched together with the Rog Xbox ally, then reaching other devices in 2026. The Xbox application is eliminated by Tiny11 Builder, but it seems easy to reinstall in the Tiny11Maker script.
ANALYSIS: This sounds perfect for my desktop platform
I cannot tell how many pre -installed applications and features there are in my Windows 11 games PC that I do not use or I barely remember that they are present, and that only tells me that Windows 11 has a significant amount of unnecessary swelling.
Tiny11 looks like the unidirectional ticket to solve that, and it is something that I am considering using. Do not be evil, I would change to Bazzite in a beat if there was a better functionality of GPU Nvidia, but as it is, eliminating unnecessary background processes seems to be the sensible measure to optimize Windows 11.
Tiny11 must also be ready and functional for the new 25h2 update of Windows 11, and we hope that does not come with a package of problems as did 24h2.
It is great to see alternatives like this, and I hope that the new full -screen Xbox experience that Microsoft is about to deliver follows the steps of Tiny11.
