COP held to film women in the hospital bathrooms

A police chief who serves the Punjab police officer, who was supposedly caught filming inappropriate images of women in the bathrooms and rests of the Tehsil’s headquarters in Gujar Khan of the Rawalpindi district, has been formally arrested and reserved in one case.

A citizen intervened, caught the suspect in the spot and handed it to the police along with his mobile phone. According to police sources, a case has been formally registered and investigation is currently being carried out. The suspect has been identified as a police officer affiliated with the training wing in LaHore.

The first information report (FIR), presented by a citizen named Bilal Hussain, states that he had visited the hospital to receive medical treatment when he observed a man who captures images of women inside the bathroom. According to reports, the same individual was also seen photographing women in other places within the hospital facilities.

Suspicious, Hussain faced the individual, identified as Aqeel Abbas, a resident of Rajgaan, and checked his mobile phone. It supposedly contained inappropriate photographs of women. The suspect was arrested by Billal and delivered to the authorities.

Police officers confirmed that the defendant was dressed in civil clothing at the time of the incident. A case has been registered in sections 354, 292 and 509 of the Pakistan Criminal Code (PPC), and additional is being investigated.

Saddar Sp Nabeel Khokhar confirmed that the defendant is in fact a member of the Lahore Police training wing.

According to the Superintendent Police Assistant (ASP) Syed Daniyal, the Police received a complaint from a resident who said the suspect, a service manager published in the Punjab Police Lahore office, was allegedly involved in the filming of women while using the bathrooms in the hospital rooms.

He said that the suspect had previously been reserved for raping a widow, but the case was dismissed after the suspect reconciled with the victim. The case was withdrawn and was reinstalled, Daniyal added.

Gujar Khan police said that several committed videos of women who used the bathrooms on their cell phone, which have been sent by forensic verification had been found.
