Islamabad:
The doctor of President Asif Ali Zardari, Dr. Ti As Hussain, confirmed on Wednesday that the president had tested positive for COVID-19, adding that his state of health was constantly improving.
In a statement issued by President House Press Wing, Dr. Ped said that a dedicated medical experts was closely monitoring his condition and providing the necessary medical care.
Dr. As Hussain also declared that due to the nature of the disease, the President had been advised to remain isolated.
President Zardari was transferred to a private hospital in Karachi from Nawabshah, after experiencing health problems.
Separately, Sindh Minister Sharjeel Memon refuted reports related to Zarari’s health and said his health was improving.
In a statement, Memon said the reports that suggest that President Zardari was being transferred to Dubai to receive medical treatment were not true and that the latter would soon recover completely.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had asked about the health of President Zardari through a phone call.
The prime minister prayed for the early recovery of the president, added that the prayers of the entire nation were with the president.
The president of the National Assembly, Ayaz Sadiq, held a telephone conversation with President Zardari to ask about his well -being.
Na speaker expressed his best wishes for the president’s health and prayed for his rapid recovery. During the conversation, Sadiq transmitted his hopes for the complete recovery of Zardari.
The governor of Sindh, Kamran Tessori, had also contacted President Zardari, Dr. As Hussain, to ask about the state’s head of health and wish him the best.
