Cristiano Ronaldo scored two goals to secure Al-Nassr’s tenth consecutive victory in the Saudi professional league.
The Saudi Arabian football club defeated Al Akhdoud 3-0 on Saturday, December 27.
With this victory, AL-Nassr is preparing for a perfect start to the season and is four points clear at the top of the table.
The Portuguese superstar opened the scoring just after the half-hour mark, reaching the far post to tap in a header from Angelo Gomes.
He doubled the lead on the stroke of half-time with a moment of pure instinct, deftly flicking Marcelo Brozovic’s pass into the net with the side of his boot.
Ronaldo failed to score the hat-trick that prevented the seventh Saudi Pro League in the second half due to a tight offside, but his compatriot João Félix ensured a dominant finish, adding a third goal in the final hour.
With this victory, Al-Nassr maintained a historic streak and showed an important step in Ronaldo’s quest for his first league title in Saudi Arabia since his successful move in 2023.
